People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Fitter to join our well-established client based in Kirkby, Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, long-term ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Shifts

  • Monday to Friday
  • 05:00 start time
  • Occasional nights out required (expenses paid)

Rates of Pay

  • £12.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Completing between 4–6 drops per day
  • Delivering goods across locations throughout the UK
  • Handball duties due to the nature of the goods
  • Fitting and installing delivered items on-site where required
  • Communicating effectively with customers and the transport team
  • Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
  • Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely throughout delivery

Essential Skills

  • Full UK Category B driving licence
  • Minimum of 12 months’ van driving experience
  • No more than three penalty points for minor offences
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items
  • Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work

Desirable Experience

  • Previous multi-drop van driving experience

Training Provided

  • Driver assessment required prior to starting
  • Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
