People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driverto join our well-established client based in Solihull, West Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, immediate starts, and genuine temp-to-permanent opportunities.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Class 1 Driver, or CE Driver. Great opportunity for newly passed drivers with a minimum of three months' experience.
Rates of Pay:
- Monday to Friday | £19.00 per hour
- Saturday | £22.00 per hour
- Sunday | £23.00 per hour
- Weekly pay
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Sunday | Start times between 15:00 and 21:00
- Weekend work available if wanted

Day-to-Day Duties:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will work:
- Trunking work
- Driving and operating Category C+E (Class 1) vehicles
- Ensuring all loads are secure before transportation
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Assisting with loading and unloading where required
Essential Skills:
To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
- Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence
- Minimum of three months' Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
Desirable Experience:
- Previous commercial Class 1 driving experience
- Experience working within a fast-paced transport operation
Training:
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
