People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multi-Drop Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, flexible working, and genuine opportunities to grow and progress within a supportive environment.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Van Driver, Truck Driver or Delivery Driver.

Shifts: Monday to Friday
Start time: 07:30

Rates of Pay:
£13.54 per hour (basic - minimum 8 hours paid)
£18.00 per hour (overtime)

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Safely operating a 3.5-tonne van to transport high-value technical equipment between designated locations
  • Loading, unloading and handling all equipment with care to prevent damage
  • Ensuring timely arrival at all delivery points to maintain smooth operations
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks including fuel, tyres and lights to ensure roadworthiness
  • Reporting any issues, delays or maintenance requirements to the operations team
  • Adhering to all road traffic laws and company safety policies

Essential Skills:

  • Valid UK Category B driving licence
  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving Category B vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsements
  • Good knowledge of the UK road network
  • Good standard of spoken and written English
  • Excellent punctuality and time-keeping
  • Good understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Reliable with effective communication skills

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience
  • Experience delivering high-value goods
