People Solutions are currently recruiting FLT Reach Truck Drivers to join our well-established client based in Barnsley. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Immediate starts. Temporary to permanent role.
Day to Day Duties
- Driving/Operating a Reach Truck
- Loading & Unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided in a safe and efficient manner
- Order picking stock using a Reach truck
- Moving and transporting stock into correct areas of the warehouse
- Organising, wrapping, and securing stock ready for delivery
- Stacking and stowing pallets away
- Always adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment
- Clearing work area of any debris and keeping traffic routes clear of obstructions
- Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks and or other safety hazards to the supervisor
The following skills are essential for this role:
- Good Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety
- Punctuality and good time keeping skills
- Must be able to read and speak a certain level of English
- Experience working within a warehouse environment would be beneficial
