Warehouse Operative - Fixed PM Shift - Islip, Kettering (NN14 3JW)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well‑established client based in Kettering / Islip (NN14 3JW).

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, long‑term ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a modern warehouse environment. This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Order Picker, Picker Packer, as well as those with experience as a Warehouse Worker, Logistics Operative, or Distribution Operative.

Shifts

  • Fixed PM shift - 14:00 - 22:00

Choose one of the following shift patterns:

  • Friday to Tuesday
  • Thursday to Monday

Please note, both shift patterns include weekend working.

Rates of Pay

  • Monday to Friday: £14.74 per hour
  • Saturday and Sunday: £17.76 per hour

Day‑to‑Day Duties

  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Sorting and placing stock onto pallets and rails
  • Picking goods using LLOP equipment in line with KPI targets
  • Preparing and completing warehouse orders for dispatch
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health and safety
  • Operating LLOP vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Lifting and carrying products weighing up to fifteen kilograms
  • Supporting warehouse operations as required

Essential Skills

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential
  • LLOP experience is desirable but not essential
  • Own reliable transport due to site location and shift times
  • Ability to work full‑time fixed PM shifts
  • Basic English and numeracy skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to fifteen kilograms
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required
  • Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test and basic English and Numeracy Test
  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK

Training Provided

  • Industry‑related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
