People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our well-established client based in Broxburn. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. To be considered for this role you MUST have a valid grab HIAB licence.

As a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will receive the following benefits:

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a Class 2 Hiab Driver will involve but not be limited to:

  • Delivering most building materials to construction sites
  • Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
  • Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

As a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will need to:

  • Must be able to work as a team
  • Have a valid grab HIAB licence.
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • Must be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant)
  • Hold a valid UK Category C Licence and have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial but not essential
  • Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial but not essential

Training:

  • Training will be provided on first day and ongoing support throughout
