People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Bellshill, Glasgow.

As a Class 1 Driver you will receive the following benefits:

Day to Day Duties:
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Delivery of products throughout Scotland
- Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
- Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
- Must undergo a drug and alcohol test
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Previous experience in a similar role will be beneficial

- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
