People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the West Bromwich WEST MIDLANDS. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Rates of Pay:
- Basic : £17.20 per hour after 20:00 is paid at £20.00 per hour
- Saturday : £17.20 after 20:00 is paid at £20.00 per hour
- Sunday : £22.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- RDC or Brewery Deliveries no handball (working on curtain-side)
- Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
- Deliver cage to DCs and supermarkets
- Up to 2 drops per shift
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
- Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial

- Driver\’s Assessment will have to be completed
