Chippenham People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Handpack Operative (Days) to join our well‑established client based in Chippenham, Wiltshire on a full‑time temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable production operation.
This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Handpack Operative, Production Operative, Factory Operative, Food Production Operative, Packing Operative, Warehouse Operative, or General Operative.
Shifts: Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 17:00
Rates of Pay: £12.76 per hour

Day‑to‑Day Duties:
- Packing eggs accurately into trays, boxes and retail packaging in line with customer specifications
- Operating packing and grading machinery to ensure eggs are processed efficiently and accurately
- Carrying out manual handling tasks, including loading, unloading and packing products in line with production targets
- Identifying and reporting any defects, faults or issues with products or machinery
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping within the production area
- Following all food safety, biosecurity, health and safety, and site procedures
- Supporting line changeovers, cleaning and preparation between production runs
- Accurately completing production and quality records where required
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets and KPIs
