3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Smethwick, Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for progression.

This role may be suitable for candidates with experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver or Multi-Drop Driver.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 05:00 and 07:30

Day to Day Duties

  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries, completing approximately 20 to 25 drops per day
  • Load the vehicle in preparation for the following day's routes
  • Ensure all loads are secure and transported safely
  • Complete vehicle inspections and report any defects
  • Operate a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
  • Communicate effective with customers and site personnel
  • Monitor and maintain refrigeration unit temperatures throughout deliveries

Essential Skills

  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred
  • Valid Category B Driving Licence held for a minimum of two years
