People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing regular work and genuine long-term career opportunities, including temp-to-perm positions.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver or Pallet Network Driver.
ShiftsMonday to Friday, 04:00 fixed start time
Rates of Pay£15.00 per hour, £17.00 per hour after completing training (4-6 Weeks)

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to shops, supermarkets & distribution centres.
- Delivering of pallets or cages.
- Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Carrying out pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections.
- Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly before transportation.
- Adhering to road traffic laws, company procedures and delivery schedules.
- Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers.
- Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance issues promptly.
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
- No minimum experience - New Passes Welcome!
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements.
- No major endorsement codes.
- A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- A good understanding of road traffic laws and driver regulations.
Previous commercial driving experience, Multi-drop delivery experience.
Training ProvidedIndustry-related training provided, Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment.
