- Ongoing Training and Career Development Day-to-Day Duties As a Window Door Fabricator , your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Manufacturing aluminium and UPVC windows and doors to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production specifications
- Operating workshop machinery, including routers and saws
- Measuring materials accurately and completing production calculations
- Handling, moving, and storing materials safely
- Working closely with colleagues to resolve production issues efficiently
- Maintaining high quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting general workshop duties where required Essential Skills To be successful as a Window Door Fabricator , you will need:
- Previous experience manufacturing aluminium and/or UPVC windows and doors
- Strong technical knowledge within a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Experience using hand tools and workshop machinery safely
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within window and door fabrication would be advantageous
- Experience working within a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment would be beneficial
- Experience operating fabrication machinery, routers, or saws would be desirable Training Provided
