People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join our well-established client based in Warrington on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Stock Controller to play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy and supporting warehouse operations within a growing manufacturing business.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm

Salary:

  • £32,500 per annum

Day to Day Duties:

  • Maintaining ownership of stock accuracy across the warehouse operation
  • Monitoring, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies and variances
  • Managing stock movements from manufacturing through to storage and dispatch
  • Monitoring material queues and ensuring timely and accurate stock transactions
  • Completing cycle counts in line with agreed schedules and investigating any variances identified
  • Ensuring accurate stock booking, labelling and put-away processes are followed
  • Working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure finished goods are correctly recorded and stored
  • Supporting depot teams with stock investigations, returns processes and discrepancy resolution
  • Maintaining accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP system
  • Identifying opportunities to improve stock control processes and operational efficiency
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse operation

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience within a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller or Warehouse Stock Control role
  • Experience working within warehouse or manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of stock control principles and inventory management
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Epicor or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify root causes
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of warehouse best practices and inventory control procedures
