People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance & Reach FLT to join our well-established client based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, FLT Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Reach Truck Driver, Picker Packer, Order Picker, Warehouse Assistant, or Production Operative.

Shifts
  • Monday to Thursday – 07:30 – 16:30
  • Friday – 07:00 – 13:15
Rates of Pay
  • £13.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance & Reach FLT, your duties will include:

  • Supporting manufacturing processes within a busy production environment
  • Operating Counterbalance and Reach Truck FLTs safely and efficiently
  • Moving materials, loading and unloading vehicles, and supplying production lines
  • Using hand tools and cutting equipment where required
  • Carrying out basic assembly and product preparation duties
  • Completing stock checks and basic warehouse documentation
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Working closely with colleagues across manufacturing and warehouse teams
Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid ITSSAR Reach Truck Licence
  • A valid ITSSAR Counterbalance Truck Licence
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Confidence using hand tools and associated equipment
  • A reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • The ability to follow instructions and work safely
Desirable Experience
  • Emergency First Aid at Work (1 Day) qualification
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Training Provided
  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
