Job Description
Van Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Swadlincote.
This is a full-time position working for a leading UK brand Monday to Saturday, offering excellent rates of pay and the opportunity for long-term, ongoing work.
You must reside within ten miles of the DE11 postcode.
Shifts:• Monday to Saturday – 06:00 starts
Rates of Pay:• £14.12 per hour basic• £18.78 per hour overtime after 48 hours
Benefits:• Weekly pay• Monday to Friday work• Excellent hourly rates• No heavy lifting• Well maintained vehicles• Opportunity to go permanent
Day-to-Day Duties:• Delivering small parcels to concentrated areas• Completing 30–40 drops per day• No heavy lifting• Conducting vehicle checks• Completing all necessary paperwork• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
Essential Skills:• Full UK Category B Driving Licence• No more than three points on licence
Desirable Experience:• Previous commercial van driving experience would be an advantage
Training Provided:• Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout
