Van Driver
Working Monday to Friday
Day Shifts: 13.30 – 22.00 start times
£12.71 per hour
People Solutions are recruiting Van Delivery Drivers on behalf of our well-established retail client based in the Haydock area of St Helens.
Rates of Pay:
- Days: PM (Afternoon Shift 13.30 – 22.00 or completion of planned route)
Day to day duties:
- Load and unload products in a safe and timely manner at customers’ homes or premises
- Driving delivery vans safely and efficiently
- Load your own vehicle at start of shift
- Delivering to domestic homes
- Complete vehicle checks
- Ensure all loads are safe and secure
Essential skills:
- Must have a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
- A minimum of twelve months' experience of van delivery driving
- Need to be able to communicate effectively
- No more than six points for MINOR offences
- Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes
- Great work ethic
Desirable experience:
- Multi drop delivery experience is preferred but not essential
Training:
- Candidates must pass a driving assessment to be successful for this role
