People Solutions are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our client based in Wolverhampton.

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Conducting in-house and goods-in inspections to ensure product quality
- Working with measurement tools such as CMM, FARO Arm, shadowgraph, micrometers, and gauges
- Using PolyWorks software (or similar) for advanced metrology and analysis
- Raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Collaborating with customer inspectors and internal departments to resolve quality concerns
- Maintaining accurate inspection reports and managing calibration systems
- Ensuring all non-conforming products are correctly quarantined and tracked
Essential Skills:
- Strong metrology and measurement experience
- Proficient in PolyWorks or similar inspection software
- Confident interpreting mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
- Knowledge of materials, engineering standards, and quality certifications
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
- Experience supporting audits and conducting patrol or supplier inspections
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
- Background in manufacturing, aerospace, or precision engineering
- Experience with continuous improvement and QMS auditing
