People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and room to grow and progress.
Shifts
- Tuesday to Saturday – start times between 01:30 and 03:30
Rates of Pay
- Tuesday to Friday: £17.50 per hour
- Saturday: £18.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
- Class 2 store deliveries – 1 to 3 deliveries per day
- Unloading of pallets using a pump truck
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure loads are secured safely
- Adhere to traffic laws, company regulations, and delivery schedules
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Category C / Class 2 Driving Licence
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Experience in store delivery advantageous
Training Provided
- Drivers must pass an assessment followed by a one-day paid induction
- Industry-related training and ongoing support provided
