Job Description
Van Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
Shifts:Â Working 5 days out of 7: start times between 5.00am and 8.00am / finish times between 12.00pm and 6.00pm
Pay rate: £12.86 – £23.15 per hour

Day to Day Duties
As a Van Driver, your daily duties will involve
- As a Van Delivery Driver, you must load the van every morning
- You will be required to carry out 5-8 store deliveries (and collections) per day, with most deliveries being clothing or beauty products
- You will need to communicate effectively
- Show great customer service skill
Essential Skills
- Full UK Category B Driving Licence
- At least twelve months van delivery driving experience
- No more than three points for minor offences – no major endorsements
- Eager and willing to work
- Great customer service skills
Desirable Experience
- Previous van driving experience in a similar role
Training
- A driver assessment, consisting of written questions and a physical driving assessment will be conducted on site
- If passed, you must complete a two-day paid induction
- You will then complete a week of 'on the job' training alongside an experienced driver
