People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative / Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Irlam. Immediate starts available. Monday to Friday working, no weekend work, ongoing training, and a genuine Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate. Shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:30
- Early finish on Fridays
- Must be flexible to start at 06:00 during busy periods
Rates of Pay:
- £12.71 – £13.50 per hour depending on experience
- Pay increase available following completion of training and successful permanent placement

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Working within a factory environment to complete customer orders accurately and on time
- Building and assembling products to customer specifications
- Picking, packing, scanning and labelling products
- Moving materials and loading/unloading goods
- Using hand tools and cutting equipment as required
- Carrying out assembly and product preparation tasks
- Completing stock checks and basic documentation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Working closely with manufacturing and warehouse colleagues
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Furniture assembly experience
- Confidence using hand tools and related equipment
- Reliable, hardworking and a strong team player
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
Desirable Experience:
- Plumbing experience
- Electrical assembly experience
- Cabinet making experience
- Previous warehouse experience
Training Provided:
- Full industry-related training with ongoing development support throughout your employment
