Warehouse Operative – Up to £17.76 Per Hour | Fixed Shifts | Free Gym | Long-Term Opportunities
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives, Order Pickers, Picker Packers, Logistics Operatives, Distribution Operatives, Warehouse Assistants and Goods In / Goods Out Operatives to join our well-established client based in Islip, Kettering (NN14 3JW).
This is an excellent opportunity offering up to £17.76 per hour, fixed AM or PM shifts, weekly pay, long-term ongoing work, genuine permanent opportunities, free on-site gym access, FLT & LLOP training, discounted canteen facilities and excellent career progression within one of the area's leading distribution centres.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Order Picker, Picker Packer, Warehouse Worker, Warehouse Assistant, Logistics Operative, Distribution Operative, Goods In Operative, Goods Out Operative, Parcel Sorter or Production Operative.
- Shifts
- Fixed AM Shift: Tuesday to Saturday | 06:00 – 14:00 • Fixed PM Shift: Sunday to Thursday | 14:00 – 22:00 • Fixed PM Shift: Tuesday to Saturday | 14:00 – 22:00
- AM Shift (Monday to Friday): £13.40 per hour
- PM Shift (Monday to Friday): £14.74 per hour
- Saturday & Sunday: £17.76 per hour
As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive

- As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles
- Sorting and placing stock onto pallets and rails
- Picking goods using LLOP equipment in line with KPI targets
- Preparing and completing warehouse orders for dispatch
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health and safety
- Supporting warehouse operations as required
To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Own reliable transport due to the location and shift times
- Ability to work full-time fixed shifts
- Basic English and numeracy skills
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test together with basic English and Numeracy assessments
- Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
- Experience using LLOP or similar warehouse equipment
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Training Provided
- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
