Inventory Controller – Tamworth, West Midlands

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Inventory Controller to join our well-established client based in Tamworth, West Midlands .

This role would suit candidates with experience as an Inventory Controller, Stock Controller, Inventory Administrator, Warehouse Administrator, Stock Administrator, Logistics Administrator, or Supply Chain Coordinator.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday – 08:00am to 4:00pm

Day-to-Day Duties

As an Inventory Controller your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Managing inbound stock and internal stock movements • Maintaining accurate warehouse storage location records • Handling sales order management and order processing • Performing regular cycle counting and stock audits • Processing customer returns and creating customer credits • Reconciling inventory systems and investigating discrepancies • Issuing stock requirements as needed • Liaising with supply chain and planning teams • Logging and maintaining accurate order details within SAP

Essential Skills

To be successful as an Inventory Controller you will need:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively • A professional, proactive, and organised approach

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role • Familiarity with SAP or similar stock management systems • Experience within a fast-paced office or warehouse environment

Training Provided

• Full training provided • Ongoing support throughout your assignment
