Job Description
INVENTORY ADMINISTRATOR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Inventory Administrator to join our well-established client based in Wigan, Greater Manchester. As an Administrator, you will be providing both clerical and administrative support to the business, either as part of a team or individually.Shifts: Monday to Friday 20:00 – 05:00
Pay Rate: £13.08 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As an Inventory Administrator, your duties will include:
- Processing inbound loads received into the warehouse
- Managing document production within agreed time-scales to support warehouse productivity and customer service targets
- Completing perpetual inventory activity within agreed deadlines and conducting associated investigations
- Coordinating with Transport to ensure the back haul process is completed correctly
- Ensuring full audit compliance within stock and administration functions
- Retaining and filing all paperwork accurately to maintain robust audit trails
- Performing daily system checks and maintaining data hygiene
- Maintaining accurate and timely operational data on key business systems
- Highlighting and resolving on-hold pallet issues promptly
- Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are followed on site
- Investigating stock issues to maximise customer stock availability at warehouse level
- Completing additional duties as required in line with business needs
Essential Skills
- Previous administration experience
- Experience within a warehouse or stock control environment (desirable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work at height (scissor lift use)
- Comfortable working in a tri-temperature environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with perpetual inventory counting and goods inwards processes
- Previous experience using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Basic Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- MHE licence advantageous
Desirable Experience
- Experience in general administration tasks
- Experience with Microsoft Office packages
Training
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
