People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join a growing waste and recycling operation in South Cerney and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity offering stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression within refuse and recycling services. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Refuse Truck Driver.

Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 06:30 start times

Rates of Pay:

  • £16.00 to £18.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out full daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
  • Driving the refuse vehicle safely along assigned collection routes
  • Operating bin-lifting equipment to empty waste and recycling containers
