People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our well-established client based in Appleby Magna, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, consistent weekday shifts, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression. This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Shunter Driver, Yard Shunter, TUG Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver.
Shifts
- Monday – Friday
- AM Shift: 06:00 – 14:30
- PM Shift: 14:30 – 23:00
Rates of Pay
- AM Shift: £19.23 per hour
- PM Shift: £20.01 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
- Shunting 45ft and double-deck trailers onto allocated bays
- Operating and manoeuvring Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently within the yard

- Ensuring all trailers and loads are positioned and secured correctly
