People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in CAMBUSLANG, North Lanarkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, consistent work, and long-term development opportunities — ideal for both experienced and newly qualified drivers.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, or Lorry Driver.
Shifts- Night Shift Available
- 4 ON / 4 OFF
- £16.50 – £18.00 per hour
As an HGV Class 2 Driver you will receive:
- Excellent hourly rates – PAYE role (holidays accrued separately)

As an HGV Class 2 Driver your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
- Loading and unloading vehicles with care
- Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
- Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with safety regulations
- Following assigned routes and adhering to delivery schedules
- Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers
- Some handball required
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver you will need:
- A valid UK Category C Licence
- A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- No IN, DR, DD, or CD endorsements
- A reliable, punctual, and professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A sound understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations
- The ability to work as part of a two-person delivery team
- Previous commercial or multi-drop driving experience
- Experience delivering large or bulky items
- Previous customer-facing delivery experience
- Full industry-related training provided
- Ongoing support throughout your assignment
