FREEZER OPERATIVES
Shifts: WORKING 5 DAYS OUT OF 7: 06:00-14:00 /14:00-22:00
Pay Rate: £12.48 – £18.72 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Freezer Operatives/Chilled Pickers to join our well-established client based in Trafford Park, Manchester. You must be able to get to the site for 06.00 so this position will suit applicants who either live local or have their own transport.
Freezer Operative Shifts: 06:00-14:00
Chilled Operative shifts: 14:00-22:00
What are the benefits?

Day to Day Duties:
- Picking/packing of goods in a freezer for dispatch or chiller.
- Using headset
- Candidates will be expected to meet picking targets and KPIs
- Counting and recording stock levels
- Restocking shelves
- Tracking and documenting shipment arrival and departure times
- Monitoring product quality
- Keeping products properly organized
Essential Skills:
- Must be able to work in a cold/chilled environment
- Candidates must be able to get on site for 06.00 (so own transport would be ideal)
- Previous Experience as an Order Picker
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker/Packer in a freezer environment.
Training:
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
