D1/D2 REACH TRUCK DRIVER for our client Premier Farnell
ROTATING SHIFT - MONDAY - FRIDAY: 07:00 - 15:00/ 15:00 - 23:00 (ONE WEEK EARLY SHIFT/ONE WEEK LATE SHIFT) - £13.47 PER HOUR
NIGHT SHIFT - SUNDAY - THURSDAY: 22.00 - 06:00 - £16.41 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for D1/D2 Reach Truck Drivers to join our well-established client called Premier Farnell based in LEEDS. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

As an FLT Reach Truck Driver your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for the transportation of goods and pallets around a warehouse
- Driving/Operating a Reach Truck
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers using equipment provided in a safe and efficient manner
- Moving and transporting stock into the correct areas of the warehouse
- Loading and unloading vehicles and pallets from vehicles
- Receiving and unpacking incoming goods and taking inventories as required
- Organising stock for deliveries and wrapping and securing
- Stacking and stowing pallets away
- Adhering to health and safety at all times and promoting a safe working environment
- Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
- Organising stock for deliveries and reporting any stock difference to Management
- Promoting a safe work environment and reporting any safety concerns or issues to Management
- Clearing work area of any debris and keeping the traffic routes clear of obstructions
- Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
As an FLT Reach Truck Driver you will need the following:
- Valid D2/D1 Reach Truck Licence
- Minimum of twelve months experience driving/operating a Reach Truck
- Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to deadlines
Experience working in a warehouse or assembly environment is an advantage
