Job Description
FLT COUNTERBALANCE DRIVER
Shift: MONDAY – FRIDAY: 8:00-17:00
Pay Rate: £13.30 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently on the look-out for a Counterbalance FLT Driver to work for our client based in Middlewich. As a Counterbalance FLT Driver you will be responsible for the movement of stock from deliveries and loading ready for despatch.

Day to Day Duties:
As a Counterbalance FLT Driver your day-to-day duties will include the following:
- Ensure all safety checks are completed on forklift truck and relevant documentation completed at the start of your shift
- Operate the Counterbalance Truck safely and efficiently
- Drive at a speed that is safe bearing in mind the type of load, surface conditions and surrounding environment
- Unload and load trailers within the timeframe set
- Ensure weight distribution is consistent across decks and axles
- Stack and distribute pallets in an efficient manner ensuring care is always taken
- Report all damage that may occur to your forklift truck or pallets you are distributing
Essential Skills:
To be successful in the role of Counterbalance FLT driver, you will need the following skills:
- Accredited RTITB or ITSAAR Counterbalance Licence
- At least one years' experience operating Counterbalance Trucks
- Experience loading and unloading double decker trailers
- Good spatial awareness
Desirable Experience:
- Available immediately
Training:
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
