Day-to-Day Duties
As a Drivers Mate, your role will involve supporting the delivery of kitchens and bathrooms to customers' homes. You’ll work closely with the driver to ensure that all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. Your duties will include:
- Delivering goods to customers' homes, ensuring that products are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
- Completing an estimated 10 deliveries per day, so you will need to be physically active and able to assist in carrying and unloading goods.
- Working closely with the driver to ensure safe lifting, handling, and unloading procedures are always followed.
- Maintaining communication with customers, providing excellent service and keeping them informed throughout the delivery process.
- Ensuring that all deliveries are documented, and any issues are reported back to the office immediately.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
