DRIVER’S MATE – LANARK
Shifts: Monday to Friday (No weekend work)Start Times: Between 4:30am – 6:00amRates of Pay: £12.40 per hourStart Date: Monday 20th October 2025Hours: Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Day-to-Day DutiesAs a Driver’s Mate, your duties will include (but not be limited to):• Assisting the driver with deliveries of kitchens and bathrooms to customer homes• Supporting the safe loading and unloading of goods• Completing up to 10 deliveries per day (heavy lifting involved)• Following correct manual handling procedures• Providing excellent customer service during each delivery• Reporting any issues promptly to the office• Maintaining high safety and service standards at all times
Essential SkillsTo be successful as a Driver’s Mate, you will need:• Physical fitness and confidence with manual handling• Strong teamwork and communication skills• Reliability, punctuality, and a customer-focused attitude• Ability to commute to Lanark for early morning starts
Desirable Experience(Not essential but beneficial):• Previous experience as a Driver’s Mate• Background in customer service or delivery
Training Provided• 2–3 hour site assessment prior to start• One full week of classroom and on-site training• Manual handling and safe working procedures covered in full
Additional InformationAll candidates must pass a drug and alcohol test prior to starting.
