People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Calibration Technician / Engineer to join our forward-thinking client based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
Shifts: Monday - Friday: 8am – 5pm
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

Day-to-day duties:
As a Calibration Technician / Engineer, your duties will include (but not be limited to) calibrating a range of precision measuring equipment working with:
- Parallel screw plug gauges
- Ring gauges
- Tapered screw plug gauges
- Dial test indicators (DTI)
- Bevel protractors
- Universal Length Measuring (ULM) equipment
- Floating carriage systems
- DTI calibrators
- Rotary tables
Essential skills:
- Previous experience within calibration, metrology, or a similar precision engineering environment
- Strong understanding of measurement equipment and calibration processes
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with ULM, DTI calibrators, or similar specialist equipment
- Experience within a quality-controlled or accredited environment
Training: Full training will be provided, with additional support throughout.
