People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers – Tramping to join our well-established client based in Bellshill and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent pay rates, ongoing work, and long-term career progression for both experienced drivers and newly qualified/new pass drivers. This role would suit candidates with experience as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid Driver, Tramper Driver or Multi-Drop Driver.

Pay Rates:
- £16.50 – £18.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
- Complete loading and unloading duties safely and efficiently
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff
- Work alongside a Driver’s Mate to complete deliveries
Essential Skills:
- Valid UK Category C Licence
- Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- No IN, DR, DD or CD convictions
- Reliable, professional, and punctual attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of road safety and compliance
Desirable Experience:
- Previous commercial driving or multi-drop experience
- Experience handling large or bulky goods
- Good customer-facing experience
Training:
- Full industry-related training provided
- Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
