7.5 Tonne Driver

Monday to Friday: Start Times 04:00-05:30

Pay Rate: £14.50 Per Hour

Rates of Pay:

  • Mon to Fri: £14.50 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:

  •  Delivering & Collecting of book cases (on rollers)
  •  Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
  •  Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  •  Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  •  Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills:

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

  •  Hold a valid UK Category C1 / 7.5 Tonne Licence
  •  Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category C1 / 7.5 Tonne vehicles
  •  No more than six penalty points for minor infringements.
  •  Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  •  Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
  •  Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  •  Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  •  Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience:

  •  Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
  •  Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial

Training:

  • Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
