People Solutions are currently recruiting for Vertical Borers to join our well-established client based in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties
As a Vertical Borer your duties will be, but not limited to:
- The current machines used are Webster & Bennett 62” diameter table machines
- Main task will be the machining of flanges, therefore this would be predominantly machining the face edge and bore
- There are no tight tolerances on the machine finishes and the tolerances normally are within +/-1mm rather than +/- 0.1mm
- This machining is not high precision and could be described as ‘roughing' work prior to the final precision cuts being made
- Main operations are face, edge and boring of profiled carbon steel blanks
