We are recruiting experienced Support Workers for a state-of-the-art adult mental health hospital in Maidstone. The service comprises four specialist wards delivering care in Personality Disorder, High-Support Rehabilitation, PICU, and Low Secure environments. This role is ideal for professionals who can work flexibly and provide high-quality, person-centred support across a range of clinical needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Support adults with complex mental health presentations across multiple wards
- Assist with assessments, daily living support, therapeutic engagement, and observations
- Promote dignity, safety, least-restrictive practice, and recovery-focused care
- Work collaboratively with a full multi-disciplinary team
- Maintain accurate, compliant care records
Essential Requirements:
- Up-to-date Mandatory Training
- Valid PMVA certificate
- Oliver McGowan Tier 1 & Tier 2
- Immunisations: Varicella, MMR, TB & Hep B
- Previous healthcare or hospital experience
- Excellent communication & teamwork
- Flexibility with shift patterns
Desirable:
- Experience in PD services, PICU, rehabilitation, or secure services
Compliance:
- Role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and reference verification.
