Pay

£18.00 per hour (LTD/SELF‑EMPLOYED) with an additional £12 meal allowance per working day.

Key Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 10–12 hours per day, from 5:00 am to 7:00 am.
• Guarantee: 50 hrs per week with no break deductions.
• Work type: Home Delivery & Furniture Assembly.
• Contract: Ongoing / Long‑term / Temp to perm.
• Immediate start available.
• Work location: In person.
• Expected hours: 50‑60 hrs per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture safely and efficiently to customers’ homes.
• Provide outstanding customer service at every delivery.
• Assemble and install furniture to a high standard where required.
• Work as part of a two‑person delivery team.
• Complete deliveries within scheduled timeframes while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all road transport regulations.
• Represent the company positively and maintain excellent customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous home delivery experience highly desirable.
• Experience assembling furniture or carrying out installation work would be advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules, and transport legislation.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, professional, and safety‑conscious approach to work.
