Responsibilities
- Operate forklift trucks (Counterbalance, Reach, or other types as required) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care and accuracy.
- Move stock to designated storage locations, following warehouse layout and stock rotation procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch when required.
- Carry out routine equipment checks and report any faults or defects immediately.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse and yard areas.
- Accurately complete paperwork and update warehouse management systems (WMS) where necessary.
- Support general warehouse duties when not operating an FLT.
Skills & Experience
- Valid and in-date FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach as required).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment desirable.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
