We are currently recruiting professional and customer-focused Class 2 Drivers to join a leading home delivery operation. This role involves delivering furniture directly to customers' homes, providing an exceptional delivery experience, and assisting with the assembly and installation of furniture where required.
This is a physically active role that combines driving, customer service, and furniture assembly, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy working with customers and taking pride in delivering excellent service.
Key Details- Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (LTD/SELF EMPLOYED)
- Additional Meal Allowance: £12 per working day
- Shifts: Monday to Friday
- Start Times: Between 5:00am and 7:00am
- Typical Working Day: 10–12 hours
- Guaranteed 50 hours per week - No break deductions

As a Home Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering furniture safely and efficiently to customers' homes.
- Providing outstanding customer service at every delivery.
- Assembling and installing furniture to a high standard where required.
- Working as part of a two-person delivery team.
- Completing deliveries within scheduled timeframes while maintaining professionalism.
- Conducting vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all road transport regulations.
- Representing the company positively and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels.
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous home delivery experience is highly desirable.
- Experience assembling furniture or carrying out installation work would be advantageous.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules, and transport legislation.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work.
