We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and customer‑focused Cocktail Maker to join our restaurant team and deliver exceptional drinks and guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high‑quality cocktails and beverages, maintaining excellent service standards, and contributing to the smooth day‑to‑day running of the bar within our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and other beverages to a consistently high standard.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, drink preparation techniques, and current industry trends.
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, fully stocked, and presented to a high standard at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or ordering requirements to management.
  • Follow all licensing laws, responsible alcohol service practices, and health & safety regulations.
  • Accurately handle cash and card transactions using the till/POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness of glassware, equipment, and workstations throughout service.
  • Contribute positively to the team environment and support colleagues where required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a bartender or cocktail maker is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and drink preparation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive, energetic, and professional attitude.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A proactive and hands‑on approach to work.
  • Good understanding of licensing laws and responsible alcohol service.

We require 2 weeks of your annual holiday entitlement to be taken between January & February each year due to the needs of the business.
