Design Engineer - Steel Fabricated Products

Due to continued growth and development, my client now requires a design engineer to work on re-engineering projects. The role will include projects related to existing product improvement and limited NPD. They will also assist with maintaining the Technical File and ensure regulatory and statutory compliance including CE.
- Sheet Steel Product Design
- Great project management skills
- Design for manufacture with keen eye for cost savings
- Design of non-standard products for specific projects
- 4 years experience using 3D CAD
- Project management tools
- Ideally, the perfect candidate will be a 3D CAD user with previous experience in sheet/tubular steel products and re-engineering project experience.
- They will be used to working with production engineering to get designs prototyped and scoped ready for production including technical files, testing, BOMs, change documentation.
