Job Purpose and work duties
Support Worker is required to assist with various activities, enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle.
Work Duties:
Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
Shopping
Outdoor walking/exercise
Taking me to appointments
Assisting with leisure activities
Supporting with
• Mobility, ensuring the employers safety
• Personal care
• Undertaking activities for employer
• Ensuring employers home is clean, hygienic, and safe
Other requirements
• Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
• Establish and maintain effective communication
• Maintaining confidentiality
Location
• Within the employer’s home – DY3
Hours and rate of pay
Weekend hours working over Saturday and Sunday in the daytime, and evenings, hours to be discussed with employer
