Personal Assistant required for approx. 6 hours a week to assist my 15 year old son in the community with social skills. My son is a happy go lucky boy, easy and fun to support. He has autism, mild intellectual disability, ADHD, language disorder, and anxiety.
Hours and Rate of Pay: 6 hours a week, £12.71 an hour including petrol. Monday 6:30-9. Other hours are flexible.
Main Duties:
- Pick up from home and drive to youth club in Strood, support with social skills and purchasing items from tuck shop.
- Driving to youth club on Sundays (monthly) drop off and pick up only.
- Wednesdays, pick up from young farmers club in Strood.
- Occasional bowling, crazy golf, etc.
Personal Assistant Specification:
- My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition and a sense of humour.
- Experience with young persons with autism, ADHD, mild intellectual disability, and communication difficulties.
- Competent driver with correct insurance.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through direct payments.
