The predicted salary is between 25 - 25 £ per hour.

Family cook required for 12 hours per week split into 6 hour 2 visits.

  • Batch cooking for a family of 6 people.
  • You will make a fresh family dinner on the 2 days you are at the house and leave food for them to heat up on the other days. This can be a mix of pre-cooked food to heat up or prepared and marinated things to be cooked later on.
  • You will need to be able to menu plan and come up with a balanced and healthy plan that can be pre-prepared and reheated throughout the week. The family PA will assist you with this to get you started, and help with food shopping orders.
  • Mediterranean, Mexican, Middle Eastern, and Asian foods are preferred. Simple but tasty child-friendly recipes with a focus on meals that will reheat nicely.
  • There are no dietary requirements other than the family do not eat pork.
  • The days will need to be fixed but which days can be flexible to suit your availability so long as evenly spread to keep a rotation of freshly prepared meals.
  • Ingredients will be ordered for you ahead of time.
  • This is a lively, warm, and friendly family home, and so they need someone that can slot in and over time get to know them and their likes and dislikes.
  • You will be pleased to know it is not an open plan kitchen so you will have a quiet (ish) space to get on with your work.
  • References are required as well as an enhanced DBS as there are children in the home. (We can organise the DBS for you if yours is less than 12 months old.)
  • Must have the right to work in the UK and provide ID and proof of your visa status.
  • The role is self-employed with you providing invoices and the hourly rate is £25.
