We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to engage a 9-year-old boy with PDA autism, Down syndrome, and obesity in fun and supportive activities that promote weight loss and overall well-being. This role aims to create a positive environment where he can develop healthy habits through enjoyable physical activities tailored to his interests and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Create an Engaging Activity Plan: Develop a weekly schedule of fun and interactive activities that encourage movement and exercise, keeping in mind his preferences and comfort levels.
- Physical Activities: Organize age-appropriate, low-pressure physical activities such as:
- Nature walks or outings to parks
- Swimming sessions
- Playtime at local playgrounds
- Light games like tag, frisbee, or catch
- Dance parties with favourite music
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs.
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and Down syndrome.
