I am a young lady who seeks a Personal Assistant/Carer in the Wilmslow, SK9 area. To provide 1:1 care to access the community outside the home, and sometimes to stay with me in the home. I have complex physical and developmental needs, and it will be necessary to help me with personal care.
Hours and pay: 15 hours per week. £14.25 per hour. Alternate weekends, some evenings and school holidays. There is some flexibility over days and times.
Main Duties:
- Take me out bowling or other events in the evening.
- Take me to a café or shopping on occasional weekend days.
- Take me on occasional outings further afield at the weekend, for example a trip to the seaside or wildlife/nature park.
- Assist me to access the outdoors with wheelchair walks or walks using my walking frame.
- Assist with my personal care.
- Administer medication where prescribed.
- In the event of a seizure, follow Epilepsy Management Plan.
The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; there may be occasions where you are reasonably requested to provide additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.
