Support worker needed for 5 hours per week during term time at £14.50 per hour. I am a 17-year-old boy with Autism and ADHD, living in the Merthyr Vale area with my family. I am looking for a personal assistant to help me socialise in the community. I enjoy animals, fishing, sports, and keeping fit. I communicate well and would like someone who is understanding and enthusiastic about activities we can do together.

Tasks and Duties:

  • Assist and promote my independence in accessing the local community and surrounding areas.

Working Hours / Rate of Pay:

  • £14.50 per hour and £0.40 per mile for any mileage.
  • 5 hours per week during term time (39 weeks per annum).
  • Flexible working hours.

Type of Person Required:

  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Enthusiastic and fun to be around.
  • Previous experience working with children with additional needs and behavioural challenges.
  • Full UK Driving licence is essential.
  • Reliability is essential.

Training:

  • Training is accessible if required for the job role.

Additional Information:

  • Successful applicants will be subject to a three-month trial period.
  • A DBS check will be required, at no cost to yourself.
