Personal Assistant / Carer Required in Congleton, CW12
Β£12.90 per hour β’ 2 hours per week β’ with potential of more hours once a relationship has been built up with this young lady.
Main Duties
- This role is mainly for social activities β to build up a relationship with this young lady and help her to develop life skills and Independence β this could be as simple as taking her to the supermarket to buy a couple of items.
- Help to build up this young ladys confidence in going outdoors & socializing β This could be a visit to the park, walk down the canal to feed the ducks, having a game of bowling, or going out for dinner somewhere local.
- Employer would like the PA to be pro-active and maybe even provide different ideas on places to visit with this lady.
- The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; there may be occasions where you are reasonably requested to provide additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.
Personal Assistant Specification
- The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
- PA ideally needs to be local & know the area.
- Drivers licence is desirable due to the nature of the role.
- Experience in the care sector is essential for this role.
- My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
- My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
- My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
- You must be able to work well independently.
Supervision
My personal assistant is accountable to the employer in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
