Overview
Job Title: Personal Assistant
I am looking for a PA for my son George Huckerby through direct payments. Must have DBS or willing to have one done, must have knowledge on Autism, experience with challenging behaviour and visuals. Ideally be able to drive but not essential. Have insurance documents for business use as he would be able to travel in your car.
Hours: maximum 15 hrs; 3 term time, 12 non-term time. Wage: £14 per hour.

Outline of Role
To provide support and assistance to George to enable him to achieve maximum personal benefit of everyday life.
Responsibilities
- Tasks Personal: Help with toileting, washing hands, etc.
- Help with dressing or washing if wet etc.
- General tasks: Making drinks, assistance with eating, encouraging George to engage in daily tasks.
- Social Activities: Assisting George to participate in various social activities, this may include walking, swimming, trip to park, soft play, sensory activities, garden play.
About George
George is non verbal (has few words) and responds well to visuals. He is a beautiful cheeky boy with an infectious smile. He loves intensive interaction, is very sensory—especially with touch and smells. He enjoys playing with flags, inflatables, loves water, park swings, playing basketball, music and long walks. He loves his food and enjoys a ice cream at the beach.
