I will need 2:1 support from personal assistants due to my complex needs with Autism. I am a 14 year old boy who is non verbal and loves being outdoors and being in nature. I would like to recruit 2 personal assistants as I can sometimes be at risk of running away and not thinking of my safety.
I would like my personal assistants to take me out and about in the local community, I love plants and being outdoors. I also like going for drives in a car so a car user is essential.
Tasks and DutiesDue to my complex needs with non verbal communication I need someone who is confident and has experience in working with children with Autism. I can lack confidence, get anxious and dislike very busy areas. The role will include taking me out and about in the local community.
Working Hours / Pay Rate3 hours per week term time and 6 hours per week in School holidays at a rate of £14.50 per hour PLUS mileage can be claimed at £0.40 pence per mile for up to 20 miles pw.
Essential Requirements- Experience of Autism and complex needs.
- Car driver with their own vehicle.
Training will be received on the job.
About The JobSalary Frequency Calendar Monthly. Successful applicant will be subject to a three‐month trial period. Applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS police check at no cost to yourself.
